Were the words of the creator. Is the creator Male or Female? So the statement "Let us create man in our own image and likeness" is not refering to the gender part of the creator, but the infinite, eternal, dynamic and ever evolving positive qualities and attributes of the source of all creation (GOD).
This should simply let you know that, you have no reason not to be successful in your endeavours, because you are one with the creator, created in HIS image and likeness, and you are hear on earth to effortlessly express it.
